Today in my gmail inbox I received an email from Neiman Marcus. Not that I shop there often, but I like to stay on the mailing list of various stores so that I can get in on some amazing details. This email gave me a glimmer of hope that those beautiful blue shoes could be mine. Here’s what I got:
So now I’m thinking ok, so I spend some money, but I get some money, this could work. As I’m trying to convince myself that I can spend an obscene amount on a pair of shoes, I click on the dreaded size button. I say dreaded because I have small feet and oftentimes it is difficult to find highly sought after shoes in my size. I click with my eyes closed and wait…42. Size 42??? As in US 12, that’s the only size they have?? I wear a 6, clearly this won’t work. I’m also sort of relieved though because what if they did have a 6, what would I have done?? I guess we’ll never know.
